Fr Terry Doherty was a caring and compassionate animal lover, He was the Parish Priest at St Hugh’s, Chesterfield, from October 1990 until August 2012.             

He often told me he witnessed the profound effect pets can have on people’s lives and talked many times of setting up a website Prayers For Pets where some comfort could be sort for pet owners in times of need.
